MORGAN COUNTY SEEKING PUBLIC INPUT ON BROADBAND THROUGH ONLINE SURVEY
MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (April 4, 2022) – The Morgan County (Indiana) Redevelopment Commission in partnership with the Morgan County Commissioners are seeking public input on broadband service throughout the county.
In late 2021, the Redevelopment Commission decided to investigate broadband service current available to citizens across the county to identify gaps that may exist in underserved or unserved areas. With the blessing of the County Commissioners, the Redevelopment Commission has overseen an internal study to better understand the area.
“Despite our proximity to Indianapolis, there are still areas within the County that are underserved or have no service at all,” said Daniel Elliott, President of the Morgan County Redevelopment Commission. “It is our hope to identify those areas and forge the best path forward as broadband has become a vital piece of infrastructure for all citizens and businesses.”
The survey was commissioned by the Morgan County Redevelopment Commission through Banning Engineering. The link can be found below:
Please note that to ensure the accuracy of the submitted data, it is imperative to complete the survey from your home or business located in Morgan County. The survey will remain open through Friday, April 29th.
