Mooresville, Ind. – The Mooresville Redevelopment Commission today announced an updated timeline for the highly anticipated ‘Main in Motion’ project, which spans Main Street from Monroe Street to Maple Lane, originally planned for bid and construction in 2025. Indiana American Water notified the Redevelopment Commission of its intent to improve the water infrastructure in the project area, aligning with the town’s broader goals for sustainable growth and improved utility services.
Given the importance of coordinating these updates to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency, the Main in Motion project will now open bids in August 2025, with construction anticipated to commence in 2026. This adjustment allows Indiana American Water time to design its upgrades while maintaining the integrity and vision of the Main in Motion initiative.
