Fire Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Mooresville Fire Department (MFD), welcome to our community. I am honored to serve as Fire Chief for the Town of Mooresville, proudly known as the “Home of the State Flag.” Mooresville is a close-knit and growing community of approximately 10,000 residents, rich in history and strong in community pride. Our town’s historical significance includes the childhood home of John Dillinger, which remains located in Mooresville today, demonstrating our deep and well-preserved past.

Established in 1877, the Mooresville Fire Department has proudly served this community for nearly 150 years, carrying forward a long tradition of service, professionalism, and dedication. We are committed to protecting life, property, and the well-being of everyone who lives in, works in, and visits our town by providing fire suppression and emergency medical services, along with a strong focus on community risk reduction, fire prevention, and public education. Our goal is not only to respond to emergencies, but to work proactively with our community to reduce risk and improve safety before emergencies occur.

Our department operates Station 11 from a central location on State Road 144, which is equipped with two engines, one ladder truck, and a squad. Currently, fifteen full-time and twenty-two part-time firefighters and EMS professionals train continuously to maintain the highest standards of service. Serving the Mooresville community is more than a job, it is a commitment. We are proud to collaborate with our community partners, town leadership, and residents to make Mooresville a safer place to live, raise a family, and do business. Whether responding to an emergency call, providing emergency medical care, or engaging with citizens through education and outreach, the Mooresville Fire Department remains steadfast in its mission to serve.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. We are honored to serve this great
community.

Respectfully,
Pascal Arnes
